In the Rockies

We are now travelling through the Rockies on a back packers tour bus and having a great time.

While in Jasper we stayed in a lodge in the middle of the woods without any running water and barely any electricity. It was fun but the trips to the outside toilets at night were stressful as there are many bears in the area! Yesterday we walked on a glacier and tomorrow we are off white water rafting.

In addition to the previous blog we have now seen eagles, another Black Bear, Long Horn Sheep, Marmots, Whisky Jack and even a wild Chicken.

The photo that should hopefully attach is of Lake Peyto where we had lunch today.

That is an absolutely fantastic photo. Make sure you bring back some of those animals; I'll find you the number of a local taxidermist and text it to you.

I don't think that's really you "In the Rockies", I think you've superimposed yourself onto the background and really, you are still back in St Albans. Can't wait for the next instalment of photo's, they're fantastic!!
